Notables for the Spring/Summer 2025 season:

• Incredible success rate of attendance! From January 2025 to Present, our organization has had a whopping 96% attendance rate with our temp team!

• Temporary Coverage: We encourage you to plan ahead for your needs! Plan those vacations & plan for your employees’ time off to help you uphold production/goals.  We are here and ready to advertise your needs!

I may not be a practice owner, but being a business owner, I completely emphasize with the need to unplug and take some time for yourself! • Technology: We have been working diligently with going paper-free for time keeping, having an interactive portal to make requests, as well as viewable schedules.
  • Please have patience with us as we try to iron out the “kinks”

• Forecast of Dental Staff: It is bright and sunny here- ‘just another day in Dental Paradise!’ I have spent significant time analyzing metrics and articles throughout the staffing world and experts trying to forecast economic conditions.
  • Dentists: A steady balance of availability- including having Doctors available for last-minute emergencies! If you haven’t considered Dentist coverage for your practice, this is your sign!
  • Dental Hygienists: RDH’s are still in demand, but I am happy to say that we have a wonderful pool of Dental Hygienists and we don’t give up hope! We have had a wonderful success rate of hygiene placements in 2025 and eager to keep plugging!
  • EFDA/DA/ADMIN:  There are really great varieties and availability of the EFDA/DA/ADMIN role available to work and we are able to provide you with staff of different skill sets to help suit your practice’s needs!

About Lynn Pencek, RDH, MS

Lynn Pencek is a facilitator between industry and clinicians. Having experience both as a clinician and seasoned industry representative, she speaks both languages of clinical providers and industry leaders.

When working with Nobel Biocare and the ENVISTA team, Lynn helped lead the charge to deliver cutting-edge patient care and rapidly changing technology. While working with confident teams that effectively communicate and deliver optimized therapy, Lynn experienced what contributes to a successful practice. As a school manager for Hu-Friedy, Lynn has targeted insights for finding the best instrument designs to aid clinicians in optimal efficiency. Lynn aims to share her experience with surgical assisting, clinical workflows, digital case planning, account and inventory management, marketing, and patient education for case acceptance.
Exceeding goals as a territory manager for Nobel Biocare and multiple annual members of the Orascoptic Presidents Club, Lynn has developed relationships with dental teams and has become a trusted resource in the community.

Lynn has served on the corporate council for the Dimensions of Dental Hygiene publication, representing both Nobel Biocare and Orascoptic, and has a unique insight into how the dental industry leads the clinical practice and how clinical practice leads the industry.

Lynn started her clinical career as a Broome County Community College Department of Dental Hygiene graduate. She received her baccalaureate from Thomas Jefferson University and the Department of Dental Hygiene and her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from The University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Lynn has held Dental Hygiene faculty appointments at Thomas Jefferson University and Community College of Philadelphia. As a past president of the Philadelphia Dental Hygiene Society and a ten-year attendee of CARERFusion, Lynn continues to research and collaborate to help dental professionals explore options for having their best careers.

About Silva Norris, CPR Instructor in accordance with the American Heart Association

Silva began her career as a Dental Assistant in 1995 and since 2020, she decided to focus on a passion of teaching the BLS provider CPR to Dental Teams and applying her knowledge of Dentistry and medical emergencies in a unique way.

Not only does she love teaching dental teams, but also makes the time to do 1 on 1 sessions!

Meet Robin Sylvis, RDH, MS, SubstiToothFairy’s team member

A word from Robin: I am passionate about people, especially those in transition who are moving through the stages of life, family, career, academics, hurdles and change. I love to help people navigate transition and change so that these experiences feel empowering, exciting, risk-worthy, productive and valuable. As your coach I will facilitate and assist with your journey to seek and find answers to questions that will seamlessly and efficiently move you toward your goals and dreams. As partners we will strategize  to create the life you envision.

I am a graduate with a Master’s degree in Health Education from The Pennsylvania State University and have been a tenured college Professor for 20+ years. I have always loved working with students of all ages in clinical, laboratory and classroom settings as well as advising and counseling.

My other career role has been in the field of Recruiting and Placement Counseling for a National Healthcare Agency. In this position, I worked with hundreds of professional candidates to help them realize their career goals. I was promoted through the ranks of the company during my 14-year tenure.

​

My work and life experiences have always led me to a role of coaching and I find my life rich in these opportunities and experiences. I am a mother of 2 children with my husband, as well as having a new granddaughter! I am a graduate of a certified program in Life Coaching.

I am available to discuss how I might be able to be an asset to assist you in putting your life on a track for personal success in a streamlined manner that keeps you enjoying the process as well as the outcomes. I can promise you a working relationship that is always confidential and non-judgmental.
